'The World Needs Love Not Suspicion' 2018

An ongoing photographic series capturing London public telephone boxes at night. Refracted colour and distorted light is caught in a single moment. These images show another side to the obsolete public phone box, which is now associated with sex cards, impromptu urinals and make shift drug dens. Iconic, grimy and yet beautiful, each has their own unique fingerprint littered with scratches, graffiti and the remnants of torn posters.
This series documents these disappearing urban landmarks, once so integral to how we stayed connected and now simply a physical reminder of our technological advances.
