'The World Needs Love Not Suspicion' 2018
An ongoing photographic series capturing London public telephone boxes at night. Refracted colour and distorted light is caught in a single moment. These images show another side to the public phone box, which is usually associated with sex cards, pissing or drug taking. Iconic, grimy and beautiful, each has their own unique fingerprint littered with scratches, graffiti and torn posters. The phone boxes are gradually being removed and replaced with contemporary technology (wifi calling stands). This series documents an important part of our history before it disappears.
