AVALANCHE

The HiLight is proud to present ‘Avalanche’, a dynamic group exhibition bringing together nine boundary-defying artists that explore the overload, collapse and remixing of contemporary culture. Curated by Tobias Ross-Southall.

Through bold visual language, text and cross-disciplinary expression, the show captures the chaotic beauty of the now. From Lize Bartelli’s emotive, richly layered canvases and Helen Beard’s radiant explorations of intimacy, to William Cobbing’s surreal performative sculptures, Tom Furse’s ethereal erotica based on a photograph from Sydney Lima’s OnlyFans page and Petros’s vivid, luminous abstractions of the body, the show surges across disciplines and moods. Dion Kitson dismantles pop culture with subversive wit, Hayden Kays turns language into sharp graphic provocation while James Massiah’s incisive poetry and performance intersect with Tobias Ross-Southall’s emotionally charged, cinematic compositions. Together, they create a dense, dynamic landscape of ideas in free fall.
